Experience the fundamentals of wheel throwing in this hands-on session guided by one of our skilled potters. You’ll be introduced to the pottery wheel and learn how to shape clay into both an upright form and an open form, gaining a feel for the techniques that bring clay to life. This is a focused, small-group experience designed to give you a genuine introduction to working on the wheel. Minimum age 6+ years old.
All pieces you create are yours to keep. You may choose to take them home as they are, or have them professionally glazed and kiln-fired for an additional fee, making them suitable for everyday use.
You will be notified when your item is ready for collection, or you may arrange postage at your own cost.
Important Information
• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.
• Approximately 30 minutes per session.
• Maximum of 4 participants per session.
• Workshop fee includes the lesson and all pieces you create. Glazing and firing is available at an additional cost of $10 per piece.
• Changes to bookings cannot be made within 48 hours of the workshop.
• Refunds are not available, so please choose your session carefully.
